How much do you think swapping a Spec-V engine for my 1.8 Nissan Sentra's engine would cost?

Roughly.

Also, what do you think the pros and cons of this would be.

My Sentra is a five speed.  If that helps.

Thanks.

Expensive, v-spec engines are pricey, just buy a good power intake system if you're looking to improve the performance

Well first you're going to need the engine, likely a different transmission, the computers, the wiring harnesses, you're going to need someone to do the swap.. it'd be at the very least a $3000 job.

Depending on what performance levels the owner is going for an intake would do jack squat. You gain roughly 5 whp from an intake, give or take 3. Even full exhaust, intake, and a few other bolt ons won't give the true effect of a swapped motor giving the point of new motor having more than 20 hp.

I have a b15 sentra too.

I think there's better options out there.. the Spec-V is not exactly reliable.

and the QG18 likes to take boost, so you can turbocharge your 1.8, or maybe get an SR20DE.. they love mods too.

Heck, there's even a kit to swap in a VQ35.

The best eninge you could put in a sentra would be a RB25 I would think.

There not that expensive too(alteast here) and can make 200hp stock n/a, and have a massive aftermartket.
