I know her in real life but both of us are on vacation and far off.  Anyways,

Me:  ok, so we have an impending date the first week that we get back.

Her: ok deal.

Her:  but only if you have a car.

Me: And if I don't have a car, then you'll have to carry me.

Her:  sounds good.  ive gotten pretty weak so we might have to bring a wheelbarrow.

i dunno, the last time i asked a girl out, they usually go "YES!! I'D LOVE TO!!"....and act all enthusiastic about it.  this girl wasn't all jumpy jumpy.  and i don't think shes shy (she used to be in theater classes).  i dunno.

well, if they asked me in real life or over the phone, i'd probably raise my voice a little bit and sound a bit enthusiastic but still act cool about it.

if they asked me out online, i'd used exclamination marks like "alright awesome! sounds good!"  but keep it cool.  i guess im just too outgoing?
