wat is really considered an alcoholic person? is it by how much they drink or by how often? because my dad drinks every night- not enough to get drunk or anything but its still probably unhealthy. and bad for his anger management. just rite now to experiment i tried to move it towards the sink cuz it makes me sick. when he saw it wasnt there he almost slapped me till he found it on the counter. thats ridiculous. so is he considered an alcoholic?

My step dad was an alchohalic. He even went to treatment. To answer your question I think its a combination of both. My step dad would drink every night, not enough to get drunk every night, but he did get drunk ALOT.

yeah thats what i thought. no one ever reads peoples posts properly around here! anyway... its not necesarily alcho if he doesnt feel like he has to drink it. it is an unhealthy habit though, drinking everyday isnt good for you i dont think... or at least more than 1 drink a day. he could be alcoholic though... very possible.
