Oh really?

Whenever I'd go up north to see family, there weren't 'minorities' involved, though blacks have finally started to move into my grandma's neighborhood up in Scranton in the past 5 years.

In the vast majority of the USA blacks constitute less than 5% of the population, and the thought that blacks constitute any significant concentrations in most of those places where they are 5% or less is just hillarious.

And what makes you think I don't give any attention to other reasons for discrimination?  I have made other topics about the nature of racism in general, such as this one, where I talked about how stereotypes =/= prejudice, but how they aren't totally unrelated from each other either.

I can only focus on so many things at a time, you know.

Why is Seafercat bound by what I say? She's certainly free to disagree with me on this point.

That said, many people often believe that because it's a reaction to racism perpetrated against them in the past or present, that it's somehow justified. But as I claimed in the OP, this couldn't be more wrong as racism is never justified and it's hypocritical to subject others who weren't apart of that minority's discrimination to their racism.  It's extremely important that you also keep this in mind and realize just how prevalent this can become, especially if people feel it's justified.
