I am going to be entering tennis as well. I am wondering since people believe me to be a smart individual, and not athletic. I am wondering if clothing attire would be essential in playing a sport, since I dress better than most athletes at my school. I want to know because my cousin does everything except wrestling, tennis, and baseball, if clothing would make a "COMPETITIVE DIFFERENCE", against proving him and his friends wrong about me. My cousin is a jealous, envious person of my looks, behind the school life. I am open to any comments, suggestions, questions. Please do so.

how you dress would help, but if you suck at the sports it's going to be hard to prove yourself

I'm a little confused about what you mean. Sure, taking an active approach in looking your best with clothing probably shows that you have confidence in yourself, which will help in competitions and sports and such, but how you dress in "every day life", while your competition doesn't see you, doesn't inherently make a difference, or so I wouldn't think.

He is better looking than me, in ways, more people like him than me. I dress kind of ugly at school, but at funerals. I can really dress super nice. I have a pic too, but can not show it.

i have a good idea, how about you be good on the inside! (not saying that you're not) but it sure is a heck of a lot more impressive than what you wear.

Are you trying to ask if you purposefully dressing "ugly" will give you a heads up in sports?

I highly doubt it will.
