I am preparing a PDF from an InDesign document for the web. I want clickable links in the contents so that people can click on an item in the contents and go to that item's page. I've Googled and found that this is possible by manually drawing link rectangles around the items in the contents page, but I can't help thinking there must be an easier, more automated way. Obviously drawing a rectangle for each item in the contents is a bit strenuous, not to mention there is room for error, e.g. overlapping rectangles etc. Does anyone know a way to make the text itself in the contents into clickable links?
Any help much appreciated.
