*sigh*, this is something I don't understand. If someone hurt you (and they're not family), why would you want to see them for comfort? I understand seeing them for revenge but why for comfort? Anyways, to the question, I'd just let her cry away. She's probably not thinking straight so reasoning with her may or may not be worthwhile.

Therapy will most likely take some time for it to have a good effect.
Personally, I'd say she's stupid. Someone abuses you and you stay with them. That's fine if you're staying with them out of fear. But being sad and wanting to be with them when they're away from you seems almost masochistic. If she's not masochistic, then she's likely stupid.
