Biting & scratching are just as bad imo... you need something to hold onto, that you really would do anything for-even stop cutting yourself.

That's the only thing that ever made me stop, and a year on its still working. :)

Find something else to do. Cutting is stupid and you are going to regret it afterwards.. and years down the road you are going to look at yourself..and be like.. "why in the fuck did i do that?"
You can get help and shit for that too.. try it out..

I can not believe the amount of stupid responses.

Why don't you get help, damaging your body purposely and being dependent on it, is a very sure fire sign that you have a mental disorder. Try going to a doctor and getting help, drugs and therapy.

People seem to be more concerned that some immature person called someone an "emo", when they should be concerned that someone is mutilating their own body.
