Dont get me wrong, College football is my favorite sport and we sure have good college football, but once college football is over then that is it.

No other football teams, no MLB team, no NBA team, no AFL team, no NHL, All Alabama has that even comes close to a major pro sport is Talladega Super-speedway, but I'm not a big fan of racing and its only about 2 times a year anyway.

We are also surrounded by states with pro sports. Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee.....and Mississippi I dont count because it barely qualifies as a self functioning state anyway.

Oh well, maybe some day within the next 50 or so years Alabama will enter into the realm of major league sports.
