Ok, So I'm pretty new to this particular forum, But I thought it was where you went to discuss your religion and things about it. So far all I see is a bunch of people bashing everybody elses religions. Which is just kinda sad to me.  
Correct me if I'm wrong but this country (USA) was started by colonist who came over here so they could have freedom of religion or no religion at all if they wanted.
I know most everybody believes very different things, but must we tell them their religion is wrong just because we don't believe the same things they do. If that's the case then all the people who fled their countries many years ago should have just stayed cause at the rate everything seems to be going we are turning into those very countries people fled from.  
I know I believe very differently than alot of people, but I never tell them that their religion is wrong or that the "god" they "worship" doesn't exist because everybody has the right to believe what they want and who am I to tell anybody their wrong for believeing in something.
Just think about it.

I don't think you quite understand what "freedom of religion" means.

It does not mean that your religion will never be criticized or that everyone must think that you are just as right as they are.

It does mean that the government cannot prohibit you from practicing and believing the things that you believe and wish to practice, so long as those things do not infringe on the rights of others.

Consider yourself corrected. The first wave of American colonists came here for cash, and the early colonists who came here for religious reasons were theocrats who expelled those who didn't agree with them from their society.

They did not come here for "freedom of religion" they came here for freedom from one kind of religion so they could have their own version that kept others out.

First of all, You pretty much just contradicted yourself with the whole freedom of religion thing. "They did not come here for "freedom of religion" they came here for freedom from one kind of religion" think about that statement. That's what freedom of religion is, not having to have whatever religion it was they had before.

And 2. I didn't see anybody from othe countries besides the US replying to my post so it doesn't actually matter that I used the US as an example.

Lastly, Everybody who replied, with the exception of very few people, Obviously didn't get what I was trying to get across. You are one of those people who just didn't get it.

The post is days old now, why are you even replying to it anyway? Just to tell me how wrong I am or something? Well, I don't think I was wrong for posting it .
