sidekick III

oh kayy, so i have a sidekick 3, ive had it for about 10 months, and starting yesterday, the battery started actting up, like it would loose its battery faster than usual. tonight, it got really bad where i would keep it plugged in for 2 hours, and than after about 5 seconds of having it unplugged it would automatically go to no battery at all. so it turned off on me and so i plugged it bacc in and it turned bacc on after like 5 mins and nothing came up. for like 15-20 mins. like there were no contacts, no pictures, no texts, no myfavs. so i freaked out. and i took the battery out and the sim card for a few mins and than put everything bacc in and it turned bacc on and it went to everything being bacc up and its fine now. except i still dont have any backgrounds or ringtones that i previously bought. i know this is prolly more thorough than nesscessary, but i really hope someone on here can tell me what the heck is going on with my stupid lame phone. thanks : )

my friend has a sidekick 3 too and his is starting to act up and he hasn't even had it for a whole year yet. i think its just cuz the manufacturer sucks. get a sidekick slide. i have one.

It means the battery is drained, lol.
you probably used it a lot and charged it when it wasnt ready to be charged.
you're only supposed to charge things when the battery runs out completely, and youre supposed to leave it charging for the full 12 hours or whatever.

i'd take it in to the store and see if your warranty would cover a replacement battery.  if it's only been 10 months, you might be able to get it replaced.  My phone was 364 days old and I brought it back cuz it was fucking up and got a brand new phone for free.  Consider it.
