I haven't cut in a month but I've been getting urges and sometimes I start to feel real anxious and nervous around people I don't know. The other day I went to the mall to buy something and started to feel really nervous, it took all my strenght to not shake when taking my wallet out. I think it might be a side effect of stopping but I don't know. It scares me a lot because this never happened

ya it is a side effect...at least i am pretty sure it is...just continue holding on and the side effect will slowly go away...you are not use to deal with the emotional pain...instead you usually replace it will physical pain...hang on and ttm if you need suport.

i have friends who have self harmed nd never heard of it, but there is always a chance, probs more tho tht they made u nervous, it sounds like a panic attack, did u feel like everything was spinning around you or tht u were starting to breathe heavily?
