The show is more entertainment than a real giver of info.. They give a lot, but they are biased towards some things, too.

If so you will see what i mean when certain cars are faster on it compared to others who are faster on a more conventional track layout.

Yes, clarkson "tested" both himself, in DIFFERENT weather conditions or all things. Not to mention Top Gear is for entertainment first, performance second.

No one said all the drivers were even, however their all race car drivers, its not like they took some joe off the street and said get in. They've driven that track several times, and race cars several times, yes every racers different, but with the outcome of the race, its quite obvious of the cars true performance.

The 5 spd vs 6 spd wouldn't make much if any difference in the outcome. Yes its a tight track, but the fact that these cars are all very similar shows that once again, this was a proper test.

But lemme guess, since america "dosen't have any roadcourses at all" that means we don't care/need cars like these right? I'm awaiting something to that extent from you

Whatever any test says, I'd still pick the STI.

They're known to be more reliable, much more SAFER, better daily drivers, more practical, subaru has a great community, and you can't beat the balance and sound of a boxer engine.

Well they did use the less powerful version as stated, when they were driving them together in the comparision they used the 360 hp version that one stig used was the 300hp version.

No one here owns a 2008 STI. So theres no one defending it on those grounds.

I'm defending the STI in this thread because this sad excuse of a review is course for calling a winner, and not even the entire video was there that actually showed the STI to be faster and better.
