i honestly do not understand why people do it. "cutting" for instance.
it makes me so mad, that people droop to that level to 'release' the pain or whatever.
its stupid and ridiculous and has no point whatsoever. honestly, what good does it do for you?
yeah, might make what you feel go away for a little, but it always comes back doesnt it?
which only proves that doing it is only causing you stupid little scars to show how utterly ridiculous you are.
why can't people just accept whne something goes wrong in their life and move on.
its hard, yes i know, but still possible.
CUTTING DOES NOT HELP THE PROBLEM GO AWAY. and suicide.
argh.
i believe, that anyone who even contemplates this, doesnt deserve their life, friends or family.
its pathetic and selfish.
people that commit might think that are doing the people in their life a 'favour', but thats all bullshit.
it affects and hurts the people around them, even their enemies for the rest of their life.
even attempting suicide does this.
honestly, if you're thinking of doing something pathetic like that, get some help.
major help. my mum has attempted to commit suiced over 5 times.
i love her dearly, but hate her for putting me through the horror and suspense of not nkowing whats was happening with her, and why she was doing this to me. and people might say, when people commit suicide, they arent doing it to other people.
they are. ARGH

thats your opinion. I cut for my reasons. People have their reasons you have yours on why you don't do it. Please don't Judge people b/c they cut. (not saying that you judged them) Put your self into our shoes then you would see

Self harm is a form of release that prevents a breakdown. It's really a method of maintaining control of my body and emotions so I can maintain control of my life and what goes on around me.

People do these things for a variety of reasons, simply because you cant comprehend these reasons, does not make these people stupid and selfish. The fact is, circumstances differ from person to person, and the way one person thinks can be significantly different from how you think. If you are not happy with people doing that, I can understand that, but you need to understand that people do these things for a reason. This reason is not plain and simple.

yeah, i see where you are all coming from, but i still dont see the point in cutting, and good it actually does for you int he long run. suicide is still one of the most pathetic, selfish acts and just an easy way out for people.

i understand and can see how people do these things for different reasons.
aka trauma in their life, trying to get control of their emotions and feelings. but thier are better ways to handle these things, cutting/suicide isnt the only option, even when people think it is.
