So i'm 31 weeks pregnant and i get a lot of movement when i go to my bed because that's when i'm relaxed most.  Anyway i got this weird feeling in my belly last night and i wasn't like the kicks, punches or elbows in the ribs i usually get it was this weird jaggy feeling.  It wasn't sore but it was like my baby was scratching me.  I know they have fingernails so i was wondering if they could actually do that.  I asked my mum and a few other people but they haven't ever heard of it before.  Is it possible.

I don't think their nails are long enough for it. At least not long enough to seriously scratch and leave a mark or anything.

I don't think so.  It's probably just a sharp pain, combined with a small paranoia of being scratched like that that makes it seems real.

acutally, my cousin was born with monster nails, they were mad long.  so i'd say its possible but i haven't ever heard of it happening.

I doubt you'd feel scratching. Their fingernails are pretty soft and lame.

Sometimes their movements can just be really odd lol.
