Im a 21 year old guy in engineering whos fairly normal.  I have had one gf in my life which lasted a couple months about 2 years ago.  Im white, 6'1", and pretty skinny.  But i cant seem to find anyone.  I am too shy but girls seem to find me cute...at least thats why ive heard from friends and randomly here and there.  I think i tend to be too picky but all i want is a decent looking, sweet, smart, nice loyal girl.  Seems just impossible.  I was "too nice" and i wont make that mistake again.  Its so hard to meet girls...especially with a class ratio of like 50 to 1.

i know exactly where you are coming from. i'm kinda the same way. but yea the only way is just to talk to girls and be nice to them. after a few months of talking to them then ask them if they would like to hang out and shoot some hoops or something.

Get out there man. Hit up the parties/clubs/bars/social event/s whatever floats your boat. Approach girls, shyness dosnt get you far w/the ladies. Girls might call that shy guy cute, but they don't wanna be w/a shy guys. Girls like manly guys. So start living man. Girls are just like anybody else, even the pretty ones. Just spark convos. If your classes are full of dudes, look elsewhere, college is big man.

ohhh yea i would stay away from the clubs/bars/and parties.
check them out first because you don't wanna get into some trouble while you are there and plus you are new. take someone with you just incase something happens and you need to slip out the back.
