You could also try four square. I forgot how to play it (it's been so long), but here's a link.

There is also four square dodgeball. Fairly self explanatory.

God, I miss being a camp in general. ='(

treasure hunts sound good, personally when i was a kid I loved when we played german dodgeball or crab soccer... you might want to avoid cooking since they're young though

Themed days?

You could have a day when all the activities try in together... for example a pirate day - make pirate hats and eye masks, organise a treasure hunt, build a pirate ship etc. Some other possible themed days: beach day (water fight, paddling pool), Italian day (make pizzas, ice cream and see if they can learn some Italian), an animal day (animal masks, animal shaped biscuits), cowboy and Indian day (dress half the kids up as cowboys, half as Indians and have a massive play fight), superhero day (masks, costumes, a secret mission to complete), a sports day (with medals for the winners), a healthy eating day (make salad and fruit salad)...

Scavenger hunt? Give them a list of things to find (e.g. five green leaves, one piece of rubbish).

A water fight if it is a hot day.

A movie day if you have a rainy day... make hot chocolate  (with all the extras) and popcorn, and sit in front of a film.

Are there any fire stations or police stations near you? You may be able to organise a visit, or they might be willing to visit you.

Maybe you should try asking the kids what they want to do... they might like organising their own activities for a couple of days (with help of course).
