Well, there are some obvious reasons for why it's bad. You could get an infection, if there is rust on the blade you could get some disease or illness, or you could slip up and bleed to death. Then there are other reasons. You might become slightly paranoid about someone seeing your cuts or something, and it might actually make you more depressed. There is a risk of someone you don't like finding out and making fun of you for a long time as well.  And I'm sure years from now you will realize it was a stupid decision you made and you will be embarrassed by it.

Of course it's wrong/bad. But it isn't the worst thing out there. Cutting is just a really unhealthy way of dealing with your negative emotions.

You said that you only did it twice, which is great! You want to try and make sure you don't do it again though, or this escape will rapidly become an addiction that you won't be able to get away from.

You really need to find someone that you can talk to and vent. It's extremely important that you are able to get your emotions out there. If you don't have anyone in your real life to talk to, you can message me if you'd like. I know what it is that you are going through.

Also, you are going to need to find a good coping method that works for you. I don't know you personally, so I would only be able to bounce ideas out there. For me, writing down my emotions helps. You could also listen to music, drawing, sleeping, talking, the old rubber band trick, sometimes drawing on yourself with a red marker works, keeping a journal, etc. There are a million things that can be done. You just have to see which thing is right for you.

Good luck Hun, and remember to message me any time. :)

At first I did it to 'wake me up' I guess..I was feeling empty, and I needed the pain to feel again. To make me feel alive. Then I became addicted, and then I did it for other reasons..
But I don't see it as a bad thing, it's a way for coping.
