Can anyone prove that the Ethiopian population is of Middle Eastern ancestry without the injection of conjecture? And the bible doesn't serve as proof for anything beyond faith.
From what I've studied, the Ethiopian population is largely of homogenuous native Black ancestry having some traits that can be attributed to native descent. It is not the only African population with the Muslim religion yet people here seem to like to state that Muslim religion equates to Muslim ancestry. That isn't necessarily true unless you want to count the countless other African nations with said Muslim religion.
