Seriously, I just went clothes shopping in the United States for the first time and there was absolutely nothing that would fit me (159cm/52kg) anywhere.

I had to go to three different stores to find a single suit my size because apparently there are no Americans with a waist size smaller than that of a small elephant. The guys at the counter just shrugged and were all like "sorry we've never heard of a person with a 28-inch waist needing to buy clothes at a store."

The vast majority of everything for men seems to have to have the words "baggy" or "wide leg" in it somewhere so I ended up having to go to the women's section to get new pants.   It was pretty humiliating because I was with my mom, ell oh ell.  

Why are you all fat, and if you aren't fat, why do you all wear clothes for fat people? Stop that, stop that right now. It's your fault I'm stuck in jeans that say "flirt" on the inside now.

I don't know much about male clothing, but there are a wide variety of sizes for females--anywhere from twig to elephant.
