You don't ahve to wait. There is a lot to be said for it, or at the very least, for limited sexual partners before committing to that on eperson who is your (hopefully) life-long partner/support/helper/lover.
There are physical and emotional prices to be paid when indulging in instant-gratification recreational sex. I know that's not what a lot of peopel want to hear and I wouldn't ahve listened a long time ago either but I've got a wider perspective now.
Religion may be an influence but religion generally is based on hundreds or thousands of years of people's expereiences-good and bad.Those who think religion is just a big "NOT To DO" list, are ignorant of the debates and reasoning and expereience behind dogma with sexual contexts.In the end, it comes down to your personal philosopies. ANd your willingness or ability to deal with consequences, good and bad, of sex.
