I'm curious to what you think.

I allways used tabls for my layouts when i was first learning, they did the job flawlesly. Ok, so it had no fancy CSS coding. but still... it was able to create a decent layout.

it's been said that each method, (DIVS n Tables) have their own PROs n CONs) but seriously, i really don't see any real cons of DIVs, i mean - You can do so much more with it, you're only limited by your imagination.

IMO, if you're going to create a site worthwhile then you should be using DIVs, tables are simply limited.

DIVS

Tables are for representing data.

Edit: There are some 'cons' for div based websites. Browser bugs in tricky div layouts.

I find tables to be much more logical. They suit my needs (and thought structure) better and are more likely to function identically cross browser. The overhead is only higher in a matter of bytes, too, and they validate regardless of what you're using them for.

Tables are old...
There going out now and most use Divs now adays.

They allow for a much more customization about where abouts they can go on the page...

Most will say tables because they cant use divs... Tables are for representing data and thats how it should stay.

Really, if you're good enough with CSS, you can use any tag.
I usually use DIVs anyway, but it's possible to use anything from SPAN to TD to even the FONT tag.
