Why are they categorized together?


Even at my catholic ( ) school they count the Philosophy course as a religion course. :S


I really see no connection between Philosophy and religion. :\

I'm Pagan btw and I follow Native American ( as in Aboriginal/Indigenous ) beliefs.

I also hate dislike Christianity.

So why do they categorize them together?

Do you think they should be categorized together?

Yes, because religion is most of the time what defines you. What defines your beliefs and philosophies. And your philosophies are what you believe you must do in certain situations and your opinions on things.

I see a relationship between theology and philosophy: they can both be used to answer many of the same questions, like about ethics and justice and the meaning of it all, w/e.
