Windows Media Player or iTunes?

Ok so I finally moved 30GB of illegally downloaded music/movies to an external hard drive and I'm faced with a dilemma.

Should I use WMP or iTunes to play my music. I know that their are arguments that iTunes is bad because it only deals with Apple products and such.  I do not have any Apple products (ipod) and I don't plan on buying an Apple music player in the future; i've had bad experiences with them.

Vote, and reply if you actually know what you're talking about =)

Either do I, but I still use iTunes.  Even though you don't have an iPod, you can still transfer the music to an MP3 player, select all of the music, and drag and drop it onto the music file for the MP3

Winamp is probably your best bet if you arent using an iPod.

Im not a HUGE fan of WMP, but I still would use it.

Personally, I have a Zune, so I use the Zune app to manage all of my music.

itunes organises everything so much better, it's easier to use. wmp is just too cumbersome and buggy (because it's microsoft)
but i use wmp for vids, always.

I hate iTunes. It constantly locks up any system I use it on when it's importing CDs. It's just a huge fucking resource hog.
