Since I just realized my first love was this guy i have known since i was 2, i have felt pretty great that I found what love feels lilke. but, it broke my heart to see a girl say, "i love you" to him. it felt like he just murdered my heart. and basically felt like it was his way of saying, "go away".

my heart feels literally broken. no. SHATTERED. Like someone just threw a baseball at my heart and shattered it into a million pieces, and put a hole in my heart. Now i need God to help me fill that hole right up and help pick up the pieces of my heart.
I know time will heal and all that crap, so don't give me that. and that, "you should go talk to him!!" YEA RIGHT. He lives in Flordia. He has another life now.

Well there is a bonus room above my garage,  and its the biggest room in the whole house. there is a love seat, a big long couch, and a chair, and a flat screen TV in it. I feel so alone

But what  do you think I should do to sleep better? I have been crying so much, that my eyes are so swollen that it makes me look Asian. LITERALLY. -no pun intended-
Mascara is streaked down my face. I feel literally numb

For those who have been heartbroken before, how did you guys get to sleep?

BTW: please dont suggest alchohol, it doesn't help anything.

you could try wallowing in self pity until you pass out. that works sometimes. or play music. or address the situation and figure out what you can do to feel better.

Put on music real low, and just lay down. Close your eyes, and try your best to relax. If sleep don't come to you, go after sleep.

I slept better than ever after sob-festing for hours. I dunno, I was just sooo tired, I fell asleep out of the blue.

Sometimes if you just put your head to a pillow after a good cry sleep just comes when your head is finished swimming with those thoughts.

So just try to clear your mind and lay down.

For the meantime *hug* May your future be bright and trust Jesus and all of his comfort.

Instead of not thinking about it think about it. Think about how it hurt and how it felt when the girl told him she loved him. Then start exercising like running or something so you'll be tired when you're finished. Maybe you can even listen to your favorite music and daydream until you fall asleep. If all else fails tell your rents and see a Dr.

Okay,
if you can't sleep, don't sleep
read a book, roam around the internet, listen to music
then one day you'll get so sleepy you'll HAVE to sleep, but be sure to sleep at night so you don't get into the habit of staying up all night and sleeping all day
