What is it you need, hon? Information on RA rules? RA Regulations? How to handle Resident-to-RA Pressure? I was an RA. What would you like to know? My best advice to you: Do not put yourself above your residents. While you may be expected to report a straggler (someone in the halls past the set time), you are on the same level as them. You are a resident, just like them. Just because you are an RA does not make you a Queen or King. Try to look at them as your friends, and family. Treat them as you would like to be treated. Ignore the above poster. DO try to be on friendly terms with the people on your floor or area. Ignore the above poster. If there is someone breaking the rules, whether they be a Freshman, or an immature upperclassmen running rampan down the halls, report them. It is in your contract to do so. You expect your residents to follow the rules, and they expect you to do the same.

Wow, yea, I could not have said it better. I'm willing to offer to try to help (I was an RA as well), but since I have no idea what you're having an issue with I don't know if I'd be able to help.
------- So when you're happy (Hurray!), or sad (Aw!), Or frightened (Eeek!), or mad (Rats!) An interjection starts a sentence right.
