Facebook photo uploads - help needed!

Okay, so I've always used my laptop to upload photo's from my digital camera onto facebook, and I've never had a problem.

Now, my cousin is trying the same thing (we have different camera's) and it keeps saying there's an error and that the upload has failed.

Is this just a temporary issue with Facebook or is there something more to it?
