We just bought a Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster Technology and my brother set it up a night or two ago. At first, it worked fine...but now it's become apparent that every time someone calls, our connection gets cut, even my brother's does when he's playing Halo online.

Anyone know why or at least want to take a guess?

Your on Wifi, right?

Is your phone system running on the 2.4ghz range (most newer wireless phones use that).

If it is, it will interfere with your wifi.

Get a new phone, or stop using wifi. Having a different router wont really help things, since wifi always uses the same airways.

Thanks.

Are all wireless phones going to be like that? Should we look for just wired phones?

You're going to have to try and find phones that don't operate in the same band as your WiFi (2.4GHz). I'm not too sure what it's like in the US as you guys use different channels for mobile phones, cordless phones, WiFi etc. to what we use in Europe.
