i'm from Louisiana.And i've been to New Jersey.It sucked.Big time.Its smelled bad,and the people i met were rude douchebags.Maybe its just because i'm used to everyone having manners.
It depends on your interests and the surroundings and people you like best.
Louisiana is better because:the people are nice,we have great food,the french quarter is fun as hell,we all love to get drunk,and in most places its very pretty.
