However, the only thing I want out of life is to have children.  But before I go ahead and have a child, I have to make sure I have someone that is completely committed to me (I may have found someone, but time changes things), I also have to finish school, and then build up the savings to support a child and raise him/her properly.

I also know that once I have children, my life will be dedicated to them.  So I need to take this time to do things that I enjoy, but won't necessarily have time for after a child is born :).  So really, seeing any family with kids often makes me long for my own... but I suppose I'll have to wait :).

Yeah, I don't get how you consider it irresponsible...my mom had me when she was 22, her and my dad had the financial support to raise me, and I turned out fine. They really wanted it, so how is it irresponsible?
