People, especially McCain supporters are so quick to jump the gun and speak in absolutes saying Obama doesn't care. Give me a break, he's the one for more benefits and pulling out of there, not promising a century more of re-deployment and sacrifice.

If McCain really cared about veterans, why did he miss a vote on increasing Veteran health benefits?

If McCain cared more about Veterans then Obama, why did his co-sponsored bill only give benefits to soldiers who spend years longer serving the country then the bill he missed the vote on? As if spending only a few years didn't matter. That is what his bill implicitly argues.

So much love for the Vets eh?

Why should there be any incentive to stay longer than 4 years?

I'm for more phased benefits, while keeping our current benefits.

No idea. But it's hard for someone who claims to be more supportive of the Vets to co-sponor a bill that says fuck you to soldiers who only serve a few years.

want to place bets that bassguitarplayer2010 won't respond to his bat shit claim of Iraq = defending Constitution?

DOnt need to jackass Im not a coward like you are, you may be a straight up snob but all I want is for the soldiers in Iraq to do their job and give the people in Iraq hope and thats all Im arguing about, and everytime Congress declares a state of war every soldier is fighting for 1 thing : the enemy who is willing to destroy it

I guess that would be a stupid bet to take, given that Bass just proved he won't address that much less any other point one makes.

Just insult people and hope they go away.

Furthermore, the last time war was declared was in WWII.
Oh wait, you don't know anything about the Constitution.

Which war? The war on terror is a joke. It's like a war on submarines.

You're still an idiot who knows nothing about the Constitution.

See when you'd said that basiclly you just said to do nothing about 9/11, just let the attackers and their allies go unpunished and let the families of the victims suffer, I dont give a crap of what you'd say of what I do or do not know, but Im better than you cause Iam not a coward and Iam willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for this country, and sadly if you call yourself an american then Im ashamed of calling myself one

Come again?

Where did I say that? Generally it's a good idea to argue with someone who made that argument, not attack someone who did not. If you wish to discuss that, argue it with the person who made that argument: yourself.

Furthermore, Saddam was the targets of two assassination attempts by bin laden. The two were not allies. Furthermore, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Go read the Government report on it. It's been out for YEARS.

You are clearly arguing from a position of absolute sheer ignorance.

You're an idiot, who still knows nothing about the Constitution.

Still waiting for you to explain how our involvement in Iraq is linked to the Constitution.

Like I said b4 I dont give a crap of what you think I know or do not know abot the U.S Constitution Ive ready more times than you in your lifetime believe me all I can prove is that you are a coward you can talk the talk but you cant walk the walk the reason we're in Iraq because the enemy is there, now if you can talk someone without insulting them I would gladly come up to Oregon and shake your hand, but for now I suggest you seek anger management

Also my point with the US Constitution with Iraq is simple and it was the only thing Ive ever said, when the soldier enlists they take the oath to honor and defender the US Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, and when I ever see a soldier in Iraq on CNN or in a magazine I see a warrior with the Constitution in his/her heart and spreading democracy and thats all
