Because the War is wrong.  Didn't you know that he wants to stop it?
It doesnt matter if your the President and you dont want to visit any of the men who was wounded for defending the Constitution of the U.S, something doesnt add up

How is the constitution being affected?  This is a pointless war.  So therefore, there is pointless wounding and killing.

How about you look at a perspective if we were to pull out right now we would be vulnerable to any terrorist attack, you know something 60 yrs ago when WWII happened it started out the same way, we were bombed and had alot of early defeats but they overcame that, these people in Iraq have no freedoms, democracy or future and we are there to give that to them as we did to Europe and to the Pacific 60 yrs ago

He had a legitimate reason not to go, read the article.

Because his media sweethearts couldn't go in with him?

That is hardly a legitimate reason.

Get over it. You wouldn't want to, either,

 Actually, every normal American would.

Guess I'm not normal then. Fuck the tr00ps.

I hope that you get drafted under Obama.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080725/pl_nm/usa_obama_germany_troops_dc and of yall want him to be president and he cant even visit those who fought for this country

I know that this is a rhetorical question, but did you actually bother to read the article, or did you not understand it, or are you just an ass who twists things to suit their own agenda? The article is the exact opposite of the bullshit that you are spreading. In fact, Sen. Obama cancelled his trip to the medical unit out of respect for those soldiers. He had long planned to visit, but cancelled his plans when he was advised that the military would view it as a crass political photo op. So far from dissing them, Sen. Obama honored them by respecting their concern that by coming to the medical center, he would be using them for political gain.

But, I'm sure reality will play no part in your little world of lies, half-truths and mudslinging.

FYI

The war in Iraq does have a point, but it doesn't have anything to do with defending the Constitution.

It would make up 10 times more than ever if we pull out right now! I got a hunch if we do pull out of Iraq and during that time I got a gut feeling is when the terrorist might do something drastic

So then what is the point of the death of 1000's of innocent lives?

Try paying attiention to the past 10-15 years of what's been going on in that part of the world, then it'd be pretty obvious.

When someone enlists they take the oath to honor and defend the Constitution of the United States so yeah it does deal with that

Exactly what part of the Constitution is being protected with our involvement in Iraq?
