It's amazing. My dad and my stepmom are throwing my sister a big-ass house party because she's graduated beauty school. Are they make this huge deal out of it as if she just graduated actual college. They act like she accomplished some huge feat. I better get a big house party when I graduate high school, because that's definitely tougher than beauty school. They act like she poured over books until 3 in the morning every night trying to become a beautician.
She didn't get a diploma or a degree. All she got was a certification. And they make the hugest fucking deal out of it.
When my stepbrother graduated from a four-year university a few years ago, he didn't even get that huge of a party. And he just finished law school at Boston University, and they barely made a big deal out of it.
My real brother didn't even get a party for graduating from college. And he did it all on huge, prestigious scholarships and grants.
But now that my sister can cut hair, they see it as a massive reason to celebrate.
Jesus Christ, I can't believe these people.

Honor and a penis.
