I looked at the Religion forum and a lot of what I found were topics claiming that science disproves Christianity and the foundation of the Bible.

All I have to say is... enough.
You're not going to alter my beliefs at all, and you're not proving anything to me - even though I know that's what you're trying to do.

God is greater than science, by the way. He's the one who created it after all.

 That's all.

Hypocrite.

apparently God created science to fuck with us, he wanted us to think he didn't exist so we could all go to hell, the fucking bastard.

Just leave people be. Everyone can have their opinions.

Yeah but the difference is us none believers aren't allowed to voice them as fact, we gotta say "I believe this... I believe that..." But Christians, they're allowed to say what they think as a fact. It's a load of bullshit. Christians need to accept the fact that not everyone believes in God and stop being so defensive over something they have no proof of. Now Science, there's your proof.

This topic is a shame to intellectuals and Christians alike. The fact that you think you had to point your statement out explains it all.

Why? I'm explaining that if a person is trying to disprove my religion, it's not going to work. They're wasting their time.

Because the idea is that any sensible person won't just disprove the religion, because the religion itself requires faith. Faith is not something that you can disprove.

The other topic just disproved some ideas or events portrayed by the Bible, and even Christians can understand that there are areas where the Bible is wrong.

Try telling that to the guy whose topic is titled "Science does disprove Christianity."

I guess you didn't really read the part of my original post that stated that they don't need to waste their time trying to alter my beliefs with scientific facts, because they can't - and the reason for that is because i have faith.
Sorry if you think that's putting shame to my religion, but I don't agree.

So you're saying that your faith is impervious to reason, logic and facts?

Doesn't that scream delusional fanatic?

You think that everyone who has faith that there's something bigger than us - because this universe is WAY too complex to have come up by chance, and because of every other reason that I have faith - is a delusional fanatic?
Wow...

How complex would the universe have to be to happen by chance? How did the universe happen by chance to begin with?

No. You stated that it is impossible for people to alter your beliefs with scientific facts. Therefore you admit that your faith is impervious to facts, reason and logic. Fanatics are those who cannot be reasoned with through such means, therefore by transitive logic, you are a delusional fanatic.

On top of that, you never described your specific beliefs about the origin of the universe. And your argument is largely the same as of Animism. If one cannot explain something now, God must be the source. The problem, obviously is that it is the god of the gaps argument which has been time and time refuted. We don't know conclusively all or even a fraction about the origin of the universe or matter. But that does not equate to Goddidit. Those who jump to deities to placate their own ignorance and impatience are those who who have abandoned the basis of reason.

??

Nooo, humans didn't create science, just discovered different aspects of it. Very, very different concept, discovery and creation.

It took an inteligence far beyond anything else we know of to create  all this stuff.
The only problem we have is deciding on what to call this inteligence "God"[Names begin with capital letters] or "unknown force that made everything and yet has no power over what I do."
