I love both Across the Universe and original Beatles tunes. There are a couple songs from the film that i think are a tad better and that I actually prefer to the Beatles originals: "All My Loving" and "I've Just Seen A Face."

The Beatles are good for being the first, but they're also AMAZING on top of that. They're fucking amazing for doing what they did, doing it well, and being the first. The lyrics are fucking great, the music is amazing and very interesting, very different, and I love it, and the movie ruined how society sees the Beatles. Bono and that Sturgess guy need to be fucking shot.
