Has anybody ever made a list of books they want to read in their lifetime? If so, what was on it?
I've decided I want to read Tolstoy's War and Peace, even though it's MASSIVE and probably massively boring. I also want to read all of Jane Austen's works. So far I've only read Pride & Prejudice and a third of Sense & Sensibility.

I don't have a list, but there are books that I know one day I'll read but don't want to read just at the moment because either I don't think I'm ready or because I want to read them in the original language which I don't yet speak.
Remembrance du Temps Perdu by Marcel Proust is top of the list.
