The files download, but some of them come in .RAR format, like Acoustica BeatCraft, and I can't run it, because I have no appropriate program to run it with.

RAR files are compressed files. You need a program, like blufindr said, to uncompress the file and access the info within. WinRAR is a good one. Torrents vary in speed, and firewalls can occasionally cause problems... but if you successfully downloaded it, I wouldn't be worried. It takes time.

Azureus is good, however, since they went to Vuze, it has gotten too heavy. I recommend you use BitTyrant, as it uses the Azureus code, however, it is lighter. As for the .rar , it is a file formant. WinRAR is good, however, is is paid after the trial. 7zip is a free archiver program. You can download it at:
