i think they would struggle to get everyone - imagine - there would only be tens of people not in prison - its a loophole - its lke saying that its your friend and your letting them borrow the album - when you read the legal bit it tells you that you cant download anything that is copyright protected - but no really cares - i try to buy as many cds as possible to help the artists but in the end ....
That's true. I'm sure they started out all enthusiastic, "WE'RE GONNA GET THESE GUYS" and after they see how many people are doing it, they're like, "screw it." haha.

Well, I used to use it. But something's going on (I don't know the details) but my dad made me delete it because there are these hackers who can get into any file you have open while using limewire. Something like that. Anyway just buy your music, limewire is risky.
Most importantly, respect the musicians. They work hard and make a living by music and when people steal that from them it is unfair. :)

Oh and as for the legal stuff, the worst that could happen was the people who own the copyrighted material would fine you. But the chances of that are SUPER thin because countless people use it.

You can be traced but the chances are small, but people to get caught.

Limewire isnt illegal. Its simply a file sharing problem / peer-to-peer network. It allows users to share files either legal or not. It is the users who are sharing the files such as music and movies that are the ones who are breaking the law
