Maybe so on some things, but I have yet to hear of or read a passage that in any way entertains the idea that a child in the womb, no matter at what point of development, is not human. In either the Catholic Bible or the Protestant Bible.

I think everybody has reasons for the things they do. Personally, I wouldn't get an abortion unless I knew for a fact that the child was going to be like in horrible pain everyday for the rest of it's life and there's nothing anybody could do about it. But I would have to know for certain. I don't really see how it's just like killing a bug, But I'm not going to tell anybody their wrong for what they do with their own body either. And technically, scorpions are not defenseless, especially not if the person they sting is allergic to them.

This is the argument I've often given for "pro-choice". I agree.
I hate the argument that abortion is wrong because that child may find the cure for cancer - by that logic, we should spend every possible second reproducing, because if we don't, then it's less likely that we'll find the cure for cancer. Bah. This topic's got me all annoyed now.
