I'm going to put it in dialog form

My friend says "How could there be no creator? Everything is so complex yet perfect to an extent that we could never begin to comprehend it, it was obviously initiated and maintained by something/someone much greater than us".

I respond "Are you basing this off of that other dimension/universe where everything makes sense and everything is understood?

-- oh wait, there is no alternative dimension or universe, you're just putting your faith in something that makes sense to you (a god) because we can't fully understand how we got here or where we are going. You have no other universe to compare ours to, so when you say that ours is too complex and impossible you are arguing against nothing".

God.. lol.

You should read The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.  It's AWESOME.

And you were so immensely proud of this argument that you felt you simply must share it with us?

It definitely didn't need your smart-ass retort.

What did your friend say once you told them that?

Your friend made a stupid, banal argument, and you replied with a slightly less stupid, but equally banal, counter-argument. What do you expect anyone to say?

Is there a problem with this?
