Which is a shame.
It's much more fun when you have a teacher who understands what they are doing enough to mix up their style a bit and get more involved.
My history/sociology teacher was fucking amazing. He fed off of energy, but he also called us all bastards before we walked out just to let us know that we weren't seriously allowed to treat him as a friend.

Was a shame the day I graduated and had to leave him. I honestly cried and hugged him and asked him if I could just come back and sit there and watch him teach other kids, and he agreed not to tell anyone if I did.
