I'm a college sophomore now, and I have completed ALL of my 'core' classes...so there's no other classes left for me to take except those for my major. But I don't know what I want to major in.

I know I want to do the science field.

I do NOT find Biology interesting at all. Really...I don't care about that kind of crap (no offense).

I love Geology--but my school requires two 'Field Classes' during the summer...so I'd be gone for a month...and I don't particularly care for 'Field Geology'

Chemistry is nice too. However, I do not want to take Calculus 1, 2, 3, AND Differential Equations!

Now, when I think about my future, I see myself doing a job where I study about the climate, weather, natural hazards, etc. That'd mean being a Geologist, Meteorologist, etc....but I don't know!

I think that the Field Classes sound like they'd be fun.  If that's your interest, don't let summer classes be a deciding factor.

The whole Law/Business field just isn't for me. I agree, it's the fast-track to suicide. I'm not the type of person to sit at a desk, do papers, handle other peoples 'business' or whatever.

Anyways...yeah...I think Environmental Science/Geology would be the best option for me. And maybe a minor in Chemistry or Physics.

But really, I don't like or care for the idea of being in New Mexico fields for a month during the summer! I know I shouldn't let that be a deciding factor, but it kind of is...

If you don't test it out now, you'll be in college forever.

I'm majoring in Environmental Science, and minoring in Biology, Chemistry, and Criminal Justice. Don't ask me how CJ fits in there. :P

I know that some fields of Geology make tons of money. It's always a good idea to at least have a business minor/major.

So I went into school as a psychology major, and now I'm a Chemical Engineer. The best advice I got was to not care about the classes I have to take but concentrate on what I want to do in the future. Don't let the classes you have to take scare you away from doing what you want to do.
