You just gain the ability to reply to e-helps and in the serious forum, people look to you for support, manage novices, vote to hide some replies and it opens routes to become a moderator.

This member is wrong. 18 days is fine, as long as you know the site (which you don't really...) you will only be "graded" on the application.
