recently i got hired at mcdonalds,(keep in mind im 16, and its my first REAL job) so at first i was excited because after nearly a year of searching for a job, this is the first place that was actually interested in hiring me. but now going on my second week, i find it to be very stressful, my coworkers treat me like shit, and it seems like their not even teaching me anything (im still training, and so far the only think im learning is drive thru which ive yet to understand). and today was just awful. this bitch manager that i can't stand bitches at me for standing around when theres nothing to be done, plus im new so what the hell of a use am i? then she makes me go clean the bathroom WITHOUT cloves  . thankfully this guy who seems to be the only one there who is nice to me brought me gloves. sorry if i sound whiny! lol. i know its only my 2nd week, but already its looking bad. just because their not teaching me anything, and the only things im doing are helping someone on drive thru, emptying garbage, or cleaning the bathrooms. everywhere i go i end up being looked down upon, saying something about how i dont talk much, thus leading to me ALWAYS being someones bitch. and i know if this gets worse it will be out of the question if i quit. my mom wouldnt allow it as long as im living with my parents, unless i found another job that would hire me (which isnt looking so good).  . so anybody else have a suck ass job at a fast food place?

I work for fast food and I know the stress of it, believe me. It pretty much just takes one or two weeks to learn the basics and then evolve your skills from there. I'm in management, so I suggest you talk to your supervisor ( or whatever you have at Macdonalds) about the frustrations and get them to talk to you about it. Trust me, they will listen. It's their job to

I know how you feel. One of my first jobs was Wendy's. When your new you are sort of looked down upon. Since you are new they make you do simple things like cleaning the dining room or bathrooms. If you have a question about something then why don't you ask them? Your trainer should guide you around the store and teach you different types of things....

It's not an easy job especially if your new. You will get a hang of it pretty soon. If they are training your properly then you should catch on pretty quick. Have you been asking questions? My first couple of weeks involved tons of questions to my trainer. I'm glad I asked because it helped me out a lot. By the way they are supposed to give you gloves when cleaning out the bathroom toilets.  You need to speak up if somethings bothering you! If not then the problem is going to persist and nothings going to be done about it. Don't worry about it though...I've felt the same way as you when I first started. You eventually get a hang of it and it's like cake...
