I love photography, and I take photos on nature trails often. I love nature photography especially. I find taking photos theraputic. But what is theraputic photography? Is that it?

Oh no, I'm sorry. I want to major in Photography but I really love psychology also. So I googled around and talked to some people and they suggested therapeutic photography, and I was wondering if I could know more about it...

The site you linked to seems to discuss only photos of people, but I think nature photography or other non-people focussed photographs could be used for PhotoTherapy too (see below). In fact, it sounds like any emotive photograph could be used for PhotoTherapy.
