Hello I recently bought Call of duty 4 and have yet to go online with it. But before i go online properly I ussualy complete the single player campaign.
I've heard from a lot of people that the campaign was very short. And that they completed it within a days gaming. Well, I want more than just one day. So i have started a new campaign but on the hardest difficulty, this way it should last longer.
Now at the start i was very shocked at how accurate the enemy was. I was constantly stuck on the first levels so i went down the medium difficulty. But at what a price... The intense gun fights was weak. I hardly had to use cover, and would be stood up shooting everyone and no one would kill me. It sucked. So i went back to the hardest difficulty and started enjoying it again.
Getting spammed with grenades. Flooded with machine gun fire, getting outflanked and only having about 0.5 seconds to poke your head out of cover. shoot someone and get back into cover before you shot. Yes it's that intense!
I've done really well and now i'm doing a sniper mission. It's by far my favorite. It's extremly stealthy at the begening. You have one team mate who's scotish with you and he is in command. It's really special. You even find yourself having to lie down in the grass as a squad of tanks and troops walk right over you. (you can't be seen) HAHA whoever thought of that part is a genious!)
Anyways i've gone to the part where i had to snipe the president or whoever he thinks he is. I've then sniped the two helicopters and have evaded the rest of army.
well... for a while. I'm now right at the end. My partner is down and i have to pick him up. Thought i've put him down in a good sniping position. And he's helping us both stay alive untill the pickup arrives.
I've serisouly been killed about 50 times today. I've spent the past 3 hours fighting the exact same spot. I can sometimes survive untill the helicopter actually arives. Though that basterd pilot being so damn inpatiant will only give me 30 seconds to get myself and my partner on the chopper before he takes off again.
Here's the low down. I'm outnumberd. From about 30/1. I've got wild dogs trying to eat me and i'm getting spammed with grendades. As soon as i come out of cover to run to my team mate i get mowed down my enemy fire.
WOW, this game rocks. Only thing it's missing is online campaign. Anyways i've had enough for now. I'm tired of getting shot at. I will continue tommorow and hopefully i'll have a stroke of good luck and will be able to stay alive for 30 seconds longer.
