So right now I work at like a home decorating store, and I make $8/hour with about 25 hours on average a week, different schedule each week.

I hate the job, but I like a lot of the people. but many of them are quitting because changes in the management have been shitty in the past couple weeks. But now my old manager is coming back, so everything should go back to normal.

Well a couple days ago I applied to this car dealership to work as a receptionist... it's $9/hr, with a set schedule, and about 26 hours a week.

I'm really interested in this new job, but I would start like on Thursday, which is too soon to give 2 weeks notice to my old job.

and to make matters worse, i didn't think the car place would call me back, i just gave in my school availability, and told them i wanted full time hours. i would feel so bad after that saying i have to quit.

i thought about working both jobs, but my availability would be really limited with the old job, and they're really annoying about that.

Help!

I'm sure people just quit all the time without giving any notice. It's retail. I would go for the receptionist job. You'll get more experience for your resume.

I'd go with the Car Dealership job. More money is always better, along with set hours that doesn't constantly change. Sounds like a great job. Don't feel bad, they'll understand. People need more money now a days to survive.
