For one, that's rather sad that you don't brush your hair that long, and two, you should. But, since you obviously have too much boredom to do it during the day, I would run it right before you go to bed. I'm assuming you know how to defrag, because you are talking about it like it's no issue to do, just a matter of time.
I personally don't do it every week, I do it more like once a month, because I usually forget, and then someone reminds me about it, and it still has a quick enough run time, something that doesn't take all night or anything.
