Ah, i dont believe all that. All these people living in the "rich" part are just the same as the people living in the "poor" part.

Why it is, is a matter open for debate, and an interesting question that might have unexpected answers.

For instance (and there is no reason to believe this is the case here) rich old people might move into an area making it have a higher proportion of the healthy and old and a lower proportion of young people with diseases. Those people might all have existed wherever they live but just happen to have bought up property in respective areas.
