so....i was playing my xbox 360 today, and the screen got all fuzzy and blue, and the thing shut off. well i cut it back on and the lower right quadrant light came on, and the screen said system error, so i cut it back off and unplugged all the cables and then reconnected them, and i got the same result. can anyone help me get this fixed?

Just recently happened to my brother. He said to overheat it (he wrapped it in a blanket and kept it running) then once that's done, just to cool it off. Not sure if it worked.

Well, if you're tech savvy, and you can stomach dismantling your Xbox, you may want to try this: http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2006/6/16/4353

Keep in mind, if you try this, it will void your warranty.

Otherwise, SEND THAT SHIT IN! Contact Microsoft, let them know what happened, and they'll send you a box. Put your Xbox in that box, then it'll be shipped to Microsoft. They'll either repair it or give you a new one. It takes like 2-4 weeks before you get it back after you send it, though. They pay for shipping and everything.

I've heard that towel method isn't very effective...
